De gira por Michoacán, dijo que es “muy lamentable” que el gobierno español se exceda y pretenda tener injerencia en asuntos que sólo competen a los mexicanos.
Respecto a la discusión interna, el “presidente legítimo de México” dijo que se equivocan quienes crean que la definición de la pretendida enmienda a Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) es asunto sólo de las cámaras de Diputados y Senadores y mucho menos de una decisión o “enjuagues” entre las cúpulas del PRI y del PAN.
Ratificó entonces que habrá “grandes movilizaciones en todo México”, acciones de resistencia civil pacífica, para impedir la “privatización” de la paraestatal porque – expresó ante sus simpatizantes— “¡no queremos amos extranjeros. El único amo es el pueblo de México!”

López Obrador concluyó este domingo su gira número 70 por municipios del país. De los 2 mil 500 que existen, incluidos los regidos por usos y costumbres, ha visitado cerca de mil 500 y pretende cerrar esta etapa en febrero próximo.
En ese contexto, lanzó una advertencia a las cúpulas de ambos partidos y a Felipe Calderón: “el asunto del petróleo no es algo que sólo deba ser considerado en el Congreso, tiene qué ver con la decisión de la mayoría de los mexicanos.
“Si el PRI y el PAN quieren adelantar las cosas y llevar a cabo un madruguete, también estamos preparados para convocar al pueblo a la movilización ciudadana”, expresó.
